Adoption Policy & Procedure

To Reserve a Kitten:

1. Adoption Application

​

The first step to adopting a kitten is to please fill out our adoption application before sending any messages via contact form! We highly prioritize applications. An application doesn't mean you're set to adopt a kitten, it simply gives me an idea of who I am responding to so I can either approve or deny your request for further inquiry. We receive a high volume of requests, and this is the best way to skim through them and reply to those who are approved. Please be honest, and give as much detail as possible. This will ensure a smooth and quick process. You'll find our application located on our main menu, otherwise click here. Adoption Applications are mandatory.

If you would like to join our paid waitlist, our application will ask whether you'd like to opt in. This guarantees kitten placement, along with many other perks. If you choose to opt out, your application will not be prioritized, and you will need to follow up *after* you see kittens listed for sale on our website. Please note, there may not be this opportunity if our waitlist is full enough.

2. *If Joining our Waitlist*

​

You will need to place a nonrefundable deposit of $500. Once deposit is received, we will invite to an EXCLUSIVE folder with kitten content that is not shown anywhere else. This will be made up of mostly videos (at random, not on any particular schedule). 

​

*If you do not join our paid waitlist, you will need to wait until kittens are available on our website AFTER the waitlist has made their choices. There may not be any kittens available depending on how many adopters join the waitlist*

 

 

3. Kitten Contract Agreement

​

Kittens will become available to our waitlist between 6-8 weeks of age in order of deposit received. You will receive a text message with kitten availability. Once you have chosen your kitten, we will send you a contract agreement to be signed. You will have 48 hours to decide on your kitten and sign the contract. Please note, if you ask questions such as: can we see the kitten before committing, can we get a price reduction - you will be denied. We do not allow cattery visits prior to pick-up and do not consider price reductions unless it's a highly considerable situation.

3. Kitten Reservation 

​

Once application has been signed and returned, please send a non-refundable deposit of $500. We only accept Zelle at this time. This will hold your specific kitten. This is a great time to schedule date of pickup.

​If you are not on the waitlist and reserving a kitten from our 'Available Ragdoll Kittens' page, you are required to send a $1000 nonrefundable deposit.

4. Remainder Payment

​

Please send in remainder payment 3 to 7 days prior to pick up day. Again, please use the same method of payment. Payment must be sent no later than 3 days to ensure it clears. We do not provide our address for pick-up until we've received payment in full, so you will simply not get your kitten if we do not receive the payment.

5. Pick-Up Day!

​

Congratulations! You've finally made it to the day. Please bring a carrier for your fur baby. We're excited to meet you! When you arrive at our address, we kindly ask adopters to pull into the driveway to remain as neighborly as possible and keep disturbances at a minimum. We are on a dead end, so unknown vehicles parked in the road has caused issues in the past. Once you've arrived, we will meet you at the side door, not the front door.

(Out-of-State Adopters)

If you're adopting from out-of-state and must fly, please either find a flight nanny (we can provide some options, but it is adopters responsibility) or jump on a flight and meet us at EWR airport - please do not forget that carrier! We don't have enough carriers on hand to provide one to everyone who forgets.
