How To Reserve a Kitten
1. Submit an Application The first step in adopting one of our kittens is completing our required application. Applications are reviewed and prioritized, but submitting an application does not guarantee adoption. Because we receive a high number of inquiries, the application allows us to efficiently review and respond to just the approved adopters. Please answer all questions honestly and provide as much detail as possible to help ensure approval.
2. Joining the Waitlist Please note we do not keep a long waitlist. We open our waitlist when we have confirmed pregnancies and/or kittens already born. Ideally, you'll be placed within 3-6 months; that however, is dependent on if you choose to skip litters. To join, you must place a non‑refundable deposit of $500 via Zelle. You must be an approved adopter before we give out our zelle details. Once received, you will gain access to privately secured kitten content not shown anywhere else. This will include photos and updates, posted when time allows.
3. Kitten Contract Agreement Kittens become available to waitlist members at 8 weeks of age, in the order deposits were received. You will receive a text message with kitten availability. Once you select your kitten, we will send you a contract agreement to sign. You will have 48 hours to finalize your decision and return the signed contract. Please review our waitlist instructions for more information prior to joining.
4. Kitten Reservation Once the contract has been signed and returned, you must send a non‑refundable deposit via zelle to secure your specific kitten. For those on the waitlist, the deposit is $500. For those not on the waitlist and reserving a kitten directly from our Available Ragdoll Kittens page, the deposit is $1000.
5. Remainder Payment The remainder payment must be sent 3–7 days prior to pick‑up day, using the same payment method. Payment must clear no later than 3 days before pick‑up.
6. Pick‑Up Day The big day is here! Please note that all kitten handovers take place in the parking lot of our veterinary office rather than at our private residence. This updated policy allows us to prioritize the safety and privacy of our home while providing an easy-to-access spot for your pickup.
7. Nationwide Adopters
We love connecting our kittens with families across the country! To make the transition as smooth as possible, we offer courtesy meet-ups at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) for those flying in. If you'd prefer a flight nanny, we can share our top recommendations to assist with your arrangements.
Local and regional adopters may request a meeting partway for a delivery fee, or meet us at our designated local pickup point. Please remember that a carrier is essential for a safe trip home - feel free to browse our shop if you'd like us to provide a new one for you at pickup!
